Bureau of Engraving and Printing Traffic Study

This project supports the Bureau of Engraving and Printing by conducting an independent traffic study along roadways providing access to a 104 acre plot of land located in Greenbelt, Maryland. The facility supports 1,200 employees, working three shifts: day, evening and overnight. The study assessed traffic at numerous key intersections, as well as the impact on future conditions. The Traffic Impact Study results revealed change in level of service for traffic adjacent to the site. The recommendations are currently being considered by USACE and the customer.
