Carlisle Barracks Traffic Impact Study

This Traffic Study examined potential impacts of a proposed US Army War College (USAWC) new development at Carlisle Barracks. This new project will include the construction of a new building west of Collins Hall, a relocation of operations currently in Root Hall, followed by Root Hall’s demolition. The study assessed traffic at nine (9) key intersections, as well as the impact construction related traffic will have at the site. The results revealed little change in Level of Service for traffic, but the report provided recommendations for mitigating traffic issues during key USAWC events, such as graduation.
