Controlled Humidity Warehouse at Kadena Air Base

The Alliance Team constructed a controlled humidity warehouse to support a scalable operation to deliver Joint Class VIIIA medical logistics support at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. Primary facilities included: a warehouse with a 4-bay loading dock, administrative area, operations area, and storage section. Other supporting facilities include: a energy monitoring and control systems (EMCS), intrusion detection system (IDS), fire alarm detection, mass notification system, automatic building sprinklers, and force protection measures. The total project cost was $25.9M for the 55,000 SF facility.
