We are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to spearhead the concept design and implementation of fire protection systems, provide technical guidance, and interface closely with customers, stakeholders, leadership, and different engineering teams. The candidate must possess a demonstrated understanding of fire protection technologies, fire hazards, and safety engineering principles, as well as the ability to mitigate fire-related risks in various environments, ensuring all designs adhere to current regulations and standards. This position is full-time and requires authorization to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement fire protection systems – fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems – in compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications outlining system design recommendations.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing spaces.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate fire protection measures seamlessly into building designs.
  • Perform detailed calculations and simulations to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of fire protection systems under different scenarios.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to customers, project teams, and regulatory authorities on fire safety requirements and other fire protection engineering matters.
  • Stay updated on advancements in fire protection technology, research, and best practices to continuously improve design solutions.

Qualifications 

  • 5 years of experience designing and working with Fire Protection systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, or equivalent
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, or equivalent
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Fire Alarm/Protection Certifications
