Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be responsible for the electrical design, power distribution, and power systems in multiple environments. Candidate must possess a solid understanding of electricity and electrical engineering principles as well as a demonstrated track record of developing solutions in these areas. 

The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) who has ample experience leading electrical designs of new or existing buildings. This position is full-time and requires United States Citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare drawings and specifications detailing the Electrical Design for multiple projects
  • Create detailed design reports and presentation materials for customers
  • Participate in internal/external meetings and facilitate discussions
  • Gather information and requirements, interview stakeholders, perform calculations, and create design models
  • Coordinate work and collaborate closely with engineers and architects

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Electrical Design, Electricity, Electrical Engineering, Power Distribution, and/or Power Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Ability to design and develop electrical systems and products
  • Familiarity with relevant software and programs such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and MATLAB
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Additional software familiarity – Revit, AutoCAD and others
