Alliance supported the design of the micro-grid project at Naval Submarine Base New London. The project added new equipment to the existing switching and substation infrastructure, monitoring and automation capabilities, and a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The SCADA system monitors and controls the micro-grid with minimal physical operator involvement, and was designed to comply with latest provisions to insure a certifiable Cyber Secured system and capable of obtaining an ATO under current Navy security regulations.
